Candid Arts Summer Salon

For ten days in August, Candid Arts Trust, a self-funded charity that aims to promote the arts, opened its doors for its Summer Salon exhibition. Situated in its spacious first floor gallery, the exhibition showcased works from forty emerging artists from across the globe. With everything from figurative and abstract painting to sculpture and photography, there was something for everyone. And I was lucky enough to have five of my paintings included.

The opening night was a fantastic opportunity to meet other exhibiting artists and collectors, and be inspired by the amazing works on display. My favourites included a trio by the amazing Russian Estonian artist Aleksei Shatunov, dark and emotive portraits by Laramie Lanclos, and some quirky naive art by Eliza John.

A huge thank you to the fantastic curator and all the team at Candid Arts for a beautifully hung and well-organised exhibition. Hopefully see you again soon!
