I am delighted to announce that my 'Blue Day' original painting has raised £500 for Nexus NI.
In this piece, the female figure appears subdued and contemplative, peering away from a difficult past. However, the bold lines and deep blues and reds signify a returning confidence, a strength of character, and a positivity, looking towards a brighter future.
Nexus NI is a fabulous charity based in Northern Ireland that offers services and support to people who have been affected by sexual violence in any form. Services include one-on-one counselling, education, funding, helplines and other support. It costs approximately £1500 to support a survivor of sexual abuse through their counselling journey, so every little helps.
